IMPLEMENTASI SISTEM PENDETEKSI KEBOCORAN GAS LPG DENGAN SENSOR MQ-2 DAN METODE KOMUNIKASI MQTT BERBASIS INTERNET OF THINGS ( Iot )
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem pendeteksi kebocoran gas LPG berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) untuk meningkatkan keamanan pengguna. Sistem menggunakan sensor MQ-2 untuk mendeteksi gas LPG, NodeMCU ESP8266 sebagai pengendali utama, dan protokol MQTT untuk mengirim notifikasi melalui aplikasi Blynk pada smartphone. Selain notifikasi jarak jauh, sistem juga dilengkapi buzzer, LED, dan LCD sebagai peringatan lokal. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mendeteksi kebocoran gas secara cepat dan akurat berdasarkan ambang batas konsentrasi gas yang ditentukan. Sistem ini dinilai efektif sebagai solusi pencegahan dini terhadap risiko kebakaran dan ledakan akibat kebocoran gas LPG.
